In Where Time Pauses, the landscape is constructed through dense layers of colour and fragmented brushstrokes. Greens and blues establish depth across the surface, while traces of lilac, pink, and light emerge within the vegetation without forming a defined horizon or focal point.

The generous application of oil paint creates a continuous visual field in which the eye moves freely across the composition. Rather than directing the viewer toward a specific place, the painting slows perception, allowing colour, texture, and subtle variations of light to be discovered gradually.

The work investigates the relationship between landscape, perception, and time. Nature is not represented as a fixed scene, but as an immersive space in which looking becomes slower and more attentive.
