Series
Each body of work is developed as a sequence — sustained study of a single subject across months in the studio.

The Blooming Series
Every artistic language begins before it can be fully understood. The Blooming Series marks the beginning of the pictorial language that would later become the foundation of my work. These paintings were not created from a predefined concept or a structured research process. They emerged through intuition, experimentation, and a desire to translate my relationship with nature through layers of colour, movement, texture, and light. Looking back, I recognize this body of work as the moment when my visual vocabulary began to take shape. Thick applications of oil paint, fragmented brushstrokes, and landscapes dissolving into atmosphere were already present, long before I had the words to describe what I was intuitively seeking. Although each painting carries the name of a season, the series is not simply about spring, summer, or autumn. The seasons mark different moments within the same investigation of nature, colour, and transformation. Seen as a whole, The Blooming Series records the emergence of a visual language that continues to develop through later bodies of work.

Garden Studies
An ongoing study of enclosed gardens — the secret kind, where colour and form speak to whoever waits long enough to listen.
